It's not so much the person, but the object. The person wearing the cast/leg brace/prosthetic limb becomes that much more attractive. Is that normal? Also, is it normal that when I see someone wearing a leg cast, I just wanna kick it really hard?
It's an orthopedic cast and/or brace fetish. There are actually many people out there who have this fetish. This fetish has been around a long time too. Before the internet existed, people with this fetish and many other fetishes and hobbies, were not able to meet and share thier fetish with other like minded folks. The internet has allowed these people to connect and realize they are NOT ALONE. There are numerous websites devoted to orthopedic fetishes. I listed some below. I've had four broken arms (not at the same time, for obvious reasons) and have never been as popular as when I was sporting a cast. People love it.

From my experiences with casts they tend to smell after a while and they itch a lot in the first couple of days, it's probably the story behind the cast that you are attracted to not the actual cast :) Makes a person seem more interesting :/
