Is it normal that i am always attracted to older men

I mean ten years older than me. When I was 15 I dated a 22 year old. My parents were fine with it because he was a good family friend. But I don't get why I like older men. As I get older I tend up the years on how old the guy is,

When you were 15 you shouldn't have been dating a 22 year old. But if you're a legal adult and mature now, 10 years is okay. I like guys who are a few years older, because guys my age aren't mature.

I think many of the things women find attractive in men don't come to us at 18. That doesn't mean you should shun people your own age, though. They'll get there too and you'll be along for the journey!

So, 15 and he was 22...

You're family was okay with it?

two possibilities: He was either a loser, or your parents and their friends are into injecting heroin.

You don't have to have everything in common to have a good relationship, and you don't have to have ANYTHING in common to have good sex. What you like is what you like, and nobody can tell you it's wrong as long as everyone involved is a consenting adult.

I'm an older guy (47) who loves younger women. I find them delightfully open-minded, fun, and unspoiled compared with women my own age. . . and I like to be with someone who is young and hot enough for me to physically worship in bed.

The problem for me is that I feel like I can't make the first move on the women I'm interested in, for fear of being creepy. I'm up for a relationship but not clingy or jealous or needy, so if a young woman is interested, she just needs to let me know, and let me know what her boundaries are.

So, do you live in Northern California? I'd love to meet some interested young women! :)

I was 17 dating a 28 yr old and my parents didn't like it, but allowed it cuz he was a family friend, I tend to go twards older guys too. I'm with a 20 yr old now, but I'd prefer if he were older. I think it's semi-normal, but not such a good thing. Just be careful, if the maturity levels differ between you and a guy too greatly, then you will have problems (I learned that the hard way) and you may want to see if there's a reason you're doing this. Like with me, I have daddy issues no doubt. Once I figured that out, I had a better control on how much older guys I would let myself fall for.

  • I think it's normal that way round. If you were getting older and the people you liked were getting younger and younger - then that wouldn't be normal.

Ahh I think this is normal, men on a whole take a little longer then women to mature so I think it's quite natural for us girlies to go for older men, although I don't think I'd go for someone over ten years older
