Is it normal that i am afraid of chinese people?

Hi i'm from America, God bless America.
When i walk outside and i see an asian person who looks like japanese or korean that could be chinese im always very wary of them and i try not to walk too closely.
I never go in stores that have east asian owners either.
This one time i went to a shop with a chinese or japanese owner i dont know they all look the same... when i forgot to pay and when i walked outside he shouted to give the stuff back, and he didnt listen when i tried to explain but he said i was a thief and he just shouted that i am not welcome in his shop anymore, what the hell?
An asian telling an American he is not welcome in the USA???
I'm also afraid of koreans because of the past (we had a war with them in 1960 or something) but not so much as chinese because china has such a big army and because they naturaly very agressive and violent people.
Also they are known for invading other countries like they attacked japan in ww2 if im correct while japan didnt do anything to them, and now japan is our ally so if they try it again we will defend them.
Should we close the borders to east asians to be sure of our safety and send them back to their home lands?
I have seen many videos on youtube and cnn and fox news that the threat of china is really there, so im thinking maybe we should invade them before they invade us.
For national security and for the future of the American people.
Is it normal that im so wary of them??

    Lmao, ohmygod I'm laughing so hard my head hurts. I pretty much stopped reading after that. Of course he's going to be upset with you! You just STOLE from him! What'd you expect, for him to watch you shop lift and then sing sweet Asian songs to you?
    Man, you just had me laughing so hard I couldn't breathe.

    And to correct you on one little thing, Japan was actually the one who tried invading China and seizing Manchuria. It took the U.S having to retaliate after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, to get Japan to back off and surrender. And when they did that, China was finally left in peace as far as foreign affairs go. Then that's when the Communist party and the Guomindang duked it out over political reasons. But the point is, Japan was the one messing with China between 1931 to 1945. Japanese soliders would invade China, rape thousands of Chinese women and would pretty much torture the civilians while Japan was trying to annex the different regions in China. But really that was such a long time ago, you shouldn't hold that kind of stuff against Asians.

    And try not to "forget to pay" at any other stores, okay?

    They attacked Japan? Hmm. And I suppose other countries laying waste to Hiroshima and Nagasaki with atomic weaponry was not an attack but just a fraternity prank.

    I am an American, who is living in China. Actually, my Dad is Chinese, my mom American, and as such, I felt a bit insulted by your post. However, it really made me feel good to hear the other commenters sticking up for China like they did. Thanks guys!
    And as someone who has spent half their life in China, I will admit that it isn't perfect. It is not near as clean, civilized and orderly as the States, and yeah, they are in a political mess. But should we single out any race, group, or country and deem them all untrustworthy? I think not!

      Whereabouts in China do you live, by the way? And what is it like? China doesn't seem to see much need in promoting itself, its way of life, or its culture or history to anyone outside China, so I think many in the west are ignorant.

      Hopefully, they're curious too, because there's a lot to be curious about. Speaking to Chinese people always makes me feel like I know nothing about deeper truths (I mean that in a good way, in that there's a lot for me still to learn).

      I'd love to come and visit. I've always wanted to see the Winter Palace (if I could get over the shame of what the Europeans did there a century and a half ago).

        I live in the southeast, near Shanghai, and it is very crowded, busy, and humid here. :) Chinese certainly seek to promote their culture to those of us "foreigners" that venture into their borders. They are very proud of their long history, their food (rightly so) and the herbal medicine.
        Chinese are certainly curious, and that is one of the sweet things about them. They practically worship anyone and everything from the west. Even though I myself am half Chinese, I guess I look white enough that everywhere I go people treat me like a goddess, thronging me for attention, friendship, and whatnot. It gets old, but it's nice to feel appreciated I guess.
        I would definitely recommend a visit to China, even though I have been here so long most of the tourist attractions have grown old. But yes, the history in Beijing is almost mythological.
        It is a shame that the west has harmed China in the past, but China has certainly done it's share of harm in the past too. Now, I hope people and countries can just move on, be mature, and live peacefully. Cheers.

    Hahahaha I can tell asians apart they don't look the same at all, I guess your taking about the rape of nanking yeah that what war is, Hasn't America sent all it's factories to china to produce products globally so they are working together where is all this fear coming from,

    Is it because their militry is massive and with the one child policy in place they prefer a male and euthanize the females and it seems war will break out sooner all later?

    Wasn't this that started the war's fear of communism ect, And China is full on capitalist's they are competing with U.S to become a superpower, Anyway from the looks of it U.S is a Imperialist police state at the moment, They raped your constitution so I don't know what's happening to America?
