Is it normal that i am addicted to music?

I have loved music ever since I was 12. I have a passion for music and I never will stop loving music. I always have to have music in whatever I do. Take a shower, eat food, even reading a book.
I always say that I listen to music because silence is too loud.
Is this normal???

    I'm the same way. I'm always blasting my tunes everywhere. I got this portable Bluetooth speaker that works great! I wouldn't be surprised if my neighborhood hates me, but I just HAVE to have my tunes! Music is what gets me through and keeps me going

    You should look into getting a nice pair of audiophile headphones (No no. Not beats). They will tear open a new dimension to your music junkie-ness.

      That and/or a quality external setup. Though, the latter may cost a bit more.

    There are a lot worse things too be addicted but seems a really healthy interest too me. What kind of music are you into.

      Post hardcore and metal.
      Mostly.
      I also love rock and some pop.

        If you're into post hardcore you should check out a post hardcore favourite of mine racecar is racecar backwards by a band called Reuben :)
