Is it normal that i am a night owl

I love night staying up till 6Am in the morning and sleeping to 1:00-2:00.... I am not lazy I just enjoy the night... I like it so much it becomes a habit.. if i got to bed at 8:30pm.. I will wake up at 3:00am and not go to sleep again my body and my mind loves the night.. Also in your opinion what one sounds healthier and better going to bed at 8:00 and waking at 3:00 morning or staying up and waking at middle of day..Thanks tell me your stories :).

    I. Love. To. Sleep. But I tend to go to sleep at 1 or 2 at night because I get consumed by the internet

    i usually go to sleep around sunrise or a little after, and wake up around noon or one. it's nice to have a job that will let me choose my hours as long as i get things done. i would just do what feels natural. it's a shame society doesn't embrace this, well maybe it does in big cities. even as a four year old i was like this. i used to have sleep deprevation hallucinations just about every day because i had to go to school when i should have been sleeping. if i get really stoned or drunk i can sleep at night but it's not healthy sleep. my brain just doesn't work until about 3 p.m.

    This may sound silly but, were you born at night? I too am a night owl and I could NEVER understand why I have ALWAYS been at my best in the evenings. It seems that I come ALIVE around 7 PM and ironically my mother said I was born at 7 in the evening (a few minutes thereafter). There may be something to it there may not be, but what's the harm? Some of us are just night owls *smile*

    I'm also a night owl and I love it - but it only works for me now. I gave up work to be a full time mom so I like to be fresh to help with homeworks and I tutor after school too.

    It didn't work when I had to get up for work every day and go into an office. So I'd say if you're just starting out on your career you'd be better going to bed early and getting up early. At least then, you'd be well presented and ready to work. Employers value people who can get into work early or at least on time.

    It's really hard to fight your natural body clock but you can try a night mask to make you think it's dark and later than it is.
