Is it normal that i am 17 and never had a boyfriend?

Yep it's normal, I'm 19 right now and only just getting my first boyfriend :)
A lot of girls are under the impression that having a boyfriend is something that just happens, but of course it isn't! If there's no one around that you 'click' with in that way then that's just the way things happen to be - maybe you need to go out and find that right someone, rather than waiting for them to come along :)
And also remember, you shouldn't want a boyfriend just because you like the idea of it or your friends have had them and you haven't, you should want a boyfriend because you have found someone you want to go to that next level with. Don't want a boyfriend then look for the boy, find the boy THEN want a boyfriend! lol :)

Don't do it, wait it out. You know how Lady GaGa was a total outcast? Now, she's got tons of guys wanting her, so if you ain't found him ywt, you will.

For the love of fuck, do not listen to your friends. They are clearly morons. As trite as it sounds, don't change yourself for someone. It always ends badly. Trust me.

As for the boyfriend deal, one will turn up. I have only been in a serious relationship with a total of four people in my 22 years of living (I had my first girlfriend at 16 and my first boyfriend at 18), and each one of those relationships were pretty happy functional ones and all ended on good terms. My friends, on the other hand, have gone through completely shit relationship, due to their incessant need to be with anyone who is interested in them. Just wait it out. You'll meet a cute, pleasant guy some day that's totally interested in you, and you'll probably break up. But you know what? You'll most likely find another.

Of course it's normal =) I'm 19 and never had a boyfriend (not including the one internet relationship I once had). Then again, there's a LOT of very good reason for that in my case...
I don't care though, I don't especially want one again. I (somehow) know a lot about relationships and the bad seems to outweigh the good. I'm happier being independent.
I don't wanna put you off or anything, it's just my own opinion on it... XD

it's normal.. I'm also 17 and I just recently got my first boyfriend three months from my 17 th birthday. I am also thin. so I thinking is normal. :) it'll all be okay dear I promise. I personly think waiting that long is better, because than you haven't been hurt, and you might find someone who has and make thief life amazing as well as yours all while having that amazing guy. :) good luck. :)

I am 24, and I still haven't had a girlfriend. I know there is nothing wrong with my looks or the way I act. I'm really social and do have sex sometimes, but I just never manage to get a gf.

its normal I first started dating around 20. also NEVER change who you are just to be with someone if they are so shallow that they can't accept someone as they are they don't deserve to have you

I think its somewhat normal I know a guy who didn't have a girlfriend until he was 19 because of horrible acne all over his face he simply said no girl wanted me with bumps and pimples all over my face he's in his 30s now has two children and is in a committed relationship now for 8yrs he still has horrible acne scars but his current gf and the mother of his children has accepted him for who he is and what he looks like so if you're not what society deems pretty or date able don't get too depressed about it your perfect man is out their waiting for you

17 is very young, you haven't even begun to enjoy life until your 25.

yeah its normal go things come to those who wait :) all I can say is start giving off this energy that you want someone special in your life fix your hair more, dress a lil nicer have positive attitude.Most guys tend to want happy positive things around them and it all depends where your looking for. Be open and aware. Also dont change fro any guy, be yourself because if you change the guy that wanted to find a girl like you, you would miss him cause you CHANGED :) have a good one

Don't worry about it, as a guy I have a lot of respect for independent girls like you. Just wait. Only change your appearance i.e. clothes and style upgrade if need be. Nothing wrong with dressing yourself up nice.
