Is it normal that i am 18 and my voice still cracks?

Often when I am speaking at conversation volume, my voice will crack or outright halt several times. Not a big embarrassment but still kind of an annoyance. Is this abnormal development or could it just be some small condition like dryness, etc? Anyone else with this problem know how to help it?

Nah I'm 21 and mine breaks like once every month or two :). You get the piss taken out of you but it's just for laughs.

There are voice coaches out there that could teach you to talk anyway you wish. I know of several big name actresses who entered the industry with tiny, squeaky, career ending voices who, though the help of a voice coach, are now at the top of their chosen profession.

Totally normal. Some men don't stop growing until their early 20's. While your body height may look adult and may look like you're done growing, you still are.

I dunno, does it hurt? If it doesn't, then I don't see any serious problem. Are you a girl or a boy? Because, if you're a girl and your voice is deep, then you might have a hormone inbalance. I know that my voice is deep for a girl, and I'm sure I have it.

Maybe you could see a doctor about it just to make sure, but I doubt there is anything wrong.
