Is it normal that i always want to have sex?

I'm a 20 year old female and, well, every second of every day, I could have sex if my boyfriend was willing to. We've been together for a little over a year and I have not lost the flame at all and he still turns me on just as much as he ever did. I'm thinking that he thinks something's wrong with me and he said that I should go get it checked out. Do you think something is wrong with me? Is it normal to be constantly horny? (-__-);

Additional details that make this more odd: I have major depression and anxiety. Currently switched off of Lexapro and Paxil and am now trying Effexor and Trazodone at night.
Also, I've been obsessed with the thought of sex since I was 4... :(

Funny enough, I'm not from this planet anyways. What's your crater number? I'll hover by sometime. :P

    Please see a doctor.

Yes its true the 'honeymoon period' of a relationship can last years, where both individuals cannot get enough of each other.

But that depression and anxiety is obviously a concern and may be related to your strong sexual drive to see attention from others, just to keep you feeling sane.

He's clearly grown bored with your vanilla sex, get one of those strap on things and pound his ass with it till sunrise

      That's what I thought - that he's bored.
No, that's okay. I don't really want to say "I've pounded my boyfriend in the ass." He wouldn't let me, but I wouldn't do it to begin with.
I just wished he was more into S&M :(

Humans want sex. It is genetic programming that has insured our survival as a species. It is completely normal!

In my experience, women are just as horny as men. Men are just more open about it.

I have no idea, there are some people with lower than normal sex drives. That can be caused by a number of things, such as medication, tons of stress, long tiring workdays. I dunno that.

He always says stress but I work with the same company, and his job really isn't all that bad. He just overreacts sometimes. Besides, it was MORE stressful (at work) for him when we first started going at it like rabbits.
I honestly think it's me, not him, that has a problem. I don't know how someone so young could obsess about something they hardly knew about.

Not normal for most, but you sound level headed and a exciting girlfriend. If you was mine, I wouldn't want you to change a thing about you!

Yeah, but he thinks I'm weird. I think HE'S weird because he's a GUY and should be just as horny. In the past month, we only had sex ONCE. Holy jesus. Maybe HE should get his testosterone levels checked. Haha.

        once is really weird.

now, for couples together a while, i often heard they only are intimate 2 or 3 times per week on average, some even more seldom, but ONCE a month after only one year?

        No wonder you're permanently horny.

Woah, woah, woah. Once? Goodness. Have you tried telling him you feel this way? Not just talking about it, but having a serious discussion. It might help you and him. And, perhaps trying something new would heat things up. Such as role play or a strip tease and so on. Google it.

        Talk to him about it.

I have talked to him about it. He said that he wants to, but that he's stressed out from work. That never stopped him before...he is against spicing it up...he won't be a man in the bedroom lol...
