Sometimes I don't even know I'm doing it, but I always open the chip/food bag upside down. My dad always pesters me about it, so I guess it isn't something to be considered normal? I don't know. I've always done this since grade 3.
There's no sense in always doing that. It can actually lead to problems if someone tries to pick the bag up.
Normal. It really doesn't matter how you open it as long as you get the tasty food that's inside.

I do this too. In my opinion the good stuff is at the bottom, 'specially with Hot Cheetos. People pester me about it also.
I used to get so annoyed by this, until one day I accidentally opened the bag upside down. It's not as big of a deal as I thought.
I always did too until I realised that with flavoured chips the salt and flavour settles at the bottom of the bag and I had to reach past it every time and get greasy but yummy flavouring on my cuff.
