I never know they are taken when I first start to get a little crush on them. They're usually guys I recently met and don't realize they are in a relationship. This happens every time! If you have any suggestions on how to avoid this as well, please let me know :)
I believe there's some chemistry behind it; a guy will give off a certain hormone when they're with someone. Not sure how it works, but it's seriously irritating. :/
PlentyOfFish did a scientific study on this and it proves women like men who are attached - they designed the test so the same man was described as "single" and as "taken" with two separate groups of women, and found that women rated men higher when described as "taken", so perhaps there's a vibe these guys are putting out there, perhaps self-confidence or non-neediness, that you're picking up on.
Just look for guys with low self-esteem, shy and awkward: those are the single guys. (kidding here, but only just a little.)
Me too, or I happen to like the ones that aren't in a relationship, but don't give two shits about me. It happens, I guess.
Maybe you're just allowing yourself to fall too quickly. Try waiting until you have an opportunity to get to know them first beyond their cute face. And before falling; first, find out whether they're single or not.
What you really want is for you to have a convenient excuse to break up anytime you found someone more yummy and exciting.
You will always put blame on them for being married or taken when in fact it is you who have found someone new.
