Is it normal that i always feel like critisizing

I am not sure how this goes but I always feel like critisizing, its like whenever someone sees good I can see the bad. I try to push this feeling away but I always find myself back to square one I really want to be a nice person is this normal?

Well you're looking at it from a pessimistic viewpoint. Being analytical and critical helps you to be realistic but it will also bring you down. You need to lighten up at times and be more open minded otherwise you won't derive any pleasure from life. there is actually many ways to look at any particular given thing. Train yourself to recognize the good as well as the bad.

I suspect that you were raised in a highly critical environment youself. You need to explore that, and start looking more at the positive, "glass half full", so to speak.

Its normal if you're a parent. My parents have a mouthful. I think people who criticize others need to look to themselves first and not be so conceited, going on condemning others because you would probably be in a difficult situation, were you in their shoes. If you feel something is wrong, rather advise the person and support them. You're more likely to bring about change that way!

Think about the intended impact of what you say. If you want people to like you, don't make them feel bad.

I have the same issue. Well, think of it like this: The glass is never empty. Air fills the "empty" part. It's just invisible.

Also, just try and shut your mouth. I have the same issue, and sometimes it's just SO HARD TO SAY A SIMPLE, "Interesting." without sharing your opinion. I always think that person will hold me accountable for agreeing with their wrong opinion, so I always share mine; But it is SUPER ANNOYING. I suggest just nodding and smiling, or saying "interesting," or "i interpreted that a bit differently...I thought it was _____, but you are probably right."

Something like that. I myself am still struggling with that issue.

It would be more normal and less annoying if you could spell. The word is criticizing not critisizing.

    Sorry, I couldn't resist.
