Is it normal that i alt+f4 in my nightmare to wake up?

When I have a nightmare and I'm close to dying a keyboard appears in front of me, I then press alt+F4 on it and that makes me wake up. Is that normal?

    wish u cud do that in real life, id alt+f4 my way out of a lot of situations!

    omg!! i really dont know if it is or not normal but this is very interesting. i find it hilariouse being a fellow nerd. lmao! well at least u dont need to be afraid of ur nightmares since u already have an "escape route" from them. it would totally suck if ur dream keyboard broke in ur dream though. lol

    dreams are always wierd so its normal for that to happen.but if you just trying to make people try pressing alt+f4 you're an asshole.

    I pressed a red button on my watch (in a bad dream) once and I woke up. Things like that work. Also things like "computer end program" works too. You just have to think of it, get an idea to actually do that in your dream. It is incredible how dreams listen to us and comply instantly, no matter how bad dream it is.

    It could be your minds reaction to something you don't want, kinda like your mind closing the situation in your dreams. It is like computer nerd dream transference.
