Is it normal that i act differently online then i do in real life?

I act differently on here then I do in real life. Online I might seem like a annoying, attention-seeking, immature, and verbally aggressive bitch but in real life I'm a quiet, polite, and nice loner that sticks to herself the majority of the time. How I act online is merely a facade to how I actually am in reality. Is it normal?

I'm pretty much the same charming dodo dork in real life that I am here. Would you want me any other way?

Same here. In real life I'm very direct and talk all the time. I never think before I speak and I'm very sarcastic.

Online I have time to reflect on what I've written (and I have to because it's not my first language). So I think I'm much friendlier online.

Both personas are part of who I am.

I think people tend to be more troll like online in general.

I used to be that way, so I'd say its normal. I used to be the ultimate annoying shit-talker online, and in real life I was known for being extremely quiet. Now that I'm older and wiser, it kind of feels wrong to insult somebody even online. I also opened up a lot more in real life.

So now I'm respectful, laidback and generally passive irl and online.

I can tell you I'm the same way towards my friends and family as I am on here; most of the time.

I'd say I'm the same except on here people ask for my opinion. In the real world I may come off as an asshole because nobody really asks what I think.

Many act differently, but you might meet someone amazing online if you act yourself

I think it's normal, there's a lot of shit people say online that they would never say in person. It's a lot easier to express yourself online without consequences than in person..
