Is it normal that I (a guy) like the smell of my guy best friend?
It's almost addicting I suppose.

Addicting? In what way? Describe what you feel when you breathe him in. Because likening the way someone smells is a lot different than what it seems like you're describing. It's not cologne? Like, it's the way HE smells?
It is! You're just affectionate towards him and his smell reminds you of how much you like him. That's cool
Liking what scent they are wearing is one thing while being attracted to the scent is another. It is normal to like something that smells good to you.
How would liking and attracted be different.
And he doesnt put on cologn, i think its the smell of his laundry detergent? i also like the smell of the body wash.
Liking the smell to mean would suggest that I would like to also wear that scent. Being attracted to the scent would imply that I want to smell the person instead of smelling good, like they do. Ask him what he uses and go buy some. My friends and I are always asking what one another is wearing if it smells good and go buy it if we like it enough. No big deal.
