Is it normal that horror movies turn me on?

I don't know why, but after watching a horror movie, I sometimes feel aroused. Sometimes it happens despite the movie not being scary.
Yes, they were somewhat scary, bloody, and violent. Yes, it was actually scary. But it's not the gore or the violence that causes it. It might not even be the fear.
No, I don't have a guro fetish.In fact, I find that disgusting. It's definitely the movie that causes it. But it's not any specific movie, nor is it every time that I watch a horror movie that this happens.
And, I was alone, so it wasn't the idea that being with someone while being scared increases your attraction to that person.
