Is it normal that he was offended by a fake bomb?
Im in a band and when we play live we wear miscelanious outfits. One of them is a cyber punk theme where we put wires and computer parts on clothes. I made mine out of an army jacket I purchased at goodwill and put the wires and chips on it. Anyways I wear these outfits to bars and other random things for fun. The other day I was wearing the cyberpunk army jacket in the bank and everyone was staring at me like they thought it was a bomb. I found this funny as I noticed it did look like a bomb vest. Tonight I was wearing it again at the bar and some guy came up to me and asks "what the F*** is that your wearing?" to which I replied "its a bomb" He flipped out and stated that hes in the army and that he was angered that I would say that. I told him I was just joking and its not really a bomb but he started acting as if he was going to fight me. Now I was sure he could have kicked my ass as he was in the military but I thought of it as I would win either way if he did. either the %1 chance I kicked his ass, or the %99 chance he kicked my ass and people would stop him before he killed me and he would go to jail and get discharged for kicking a guys ass for wearing a vest he was offended by (meaning he still lost). Anyways I took it off out of respect after he explained that he has seen his buddies get blown up by vests like these while at war. I figured he probablly had PTSD from the army which I was understanding that it brought him bad memories. Now I also have friends and family members in the army who never were offended by this. One army buddy who even dressed like this with us to shows. What I'm wondering is if it is normal that this guy acted this way?
