So my boyfriend and I were dating for over a year and I just traveled across the country to meet his family. We have been fighting because I couldn't trust him, he was txting this girl all the time and seemed secretive/defensive. So we took a break so I could become more trusting and less dramatic, so it's been a few weeks and I have changed. He even told me so. But now he wants to break up for a little bit because he wants to maybe to things with other girls and party. I don't know if this is right. And I'm still having sex with him and waiting around for him to take me back.

    Him telling you that should have been your ticket to move on. He obviously doesn't want to be with you, he only wants sex. Move on before you get hurt even more than you already are.

    He's been "flirting" with another girl.
    Then you caught him and you broke up: and he actually convinced you that it was because of how YOU were behaving (how manipulative of him).
    You get back together.
    Then he wants to break up because an opportunity has now come up with the girl he's been seeing behind your back.
    Even though you know this, you continue to have sex with him.

    Really? Is that really what you want for yourself?

    You cannot change his mind/behaviour you know, so don't try to convince yourself that you can because it will only lead to more misery.

    Why would he get back with you if ur still having sex with him? You're putting up with whatever so it's gonna stay like that until he gets another girlfriend. Nothing you say or do will change his mind, so I suggest you move on. But judging by your story I can already tell you're the type of girl that gonna stick around hoping it will make him realize that you truely love him. And at the end of the day youre gonna be broken hearted! So please prove me wrong and move on

    So I guess I was wrong, he wanted to break up to start a new fresh relationship, I just took things wrong he wants to start out as friends.
