I dated this guy for 2 and a half years, he said he wanted to take a break, and then started dating this girl and then she broke up with him after like 3 weeks. He apologized to me about everything and then told me that he still loves me, but also loves this girl and said he wants me back. But the fact that he said he loves this girl he barely knows really made me mad so I told him to leave me alone. Finally he said he knows I won't go back to him but still wants to be friends, I still told him to leave me alone. They didn't even date for a month! Is this really possible??? It really makes me mad.

    My guess is he had the hots for her for a while longer than that and this was the reason for "taking a break".

    usually this happens, it happened to me, the exact same thing, don't forgive him because if he broke up with the other women and wants u back, he think that he cant find any other women, etc, but the biggest mistake of my life is that I forgave him, plz be aware. best wishes
