We met on "Plentyoffish.com", e-mailed for several months, texted, and talked on the phone. We finally decided to meet in person. Within 2 weeks he was talking about marriage, and 2 months exactly after we met for the first time, he proposed. We got married 5 months later... I am happy to say we just celebrated our 2 year anniversary and I couldn't be any happier! We started out as friends, he is my best friend and a wonderful husband. Everyone gave us crap about how short our engagement was, and said it wouldn't last a year... I see myself with this man until I die! The point I am trying to make is that love is timeless. Only you and your partner can decide what is right for the two of you. If you want to have a long engagement you can. If you want to run off to Vegas and get married, you can do that too. Just make sure that you are getting married for the right reasons. You may ask, " What are the right reasons to get married?" I think they are: Love, Trust, Friendship, Companionship, and comparability. My husband and I enjoy fishing, camping, hunting, riding ATV's, playing Golf, spending time together, just being with each other! Plus the sex is the best I have ever had!! Lol.. I think you get my point. It has to be right for both of you, no pressure. Good luck!
If he's asking after only a couple of weeks, then he's not mature enough to take on the responsibility of marriage. It's sweet, but not normal or logical.
You do not have enought information, in a month, to know if this will last for all your life and make you happy
There needs to be much more time before this is even thought about. You and him might think it is the right time but seriously, time is h only thing that will tell
It's called a whirlwind romance and can work out.
But you've known him for months. So what do you mean "after only 2 weeks". After only 2 weeks of what?
I've heard alot of stories of this, and it working out. If you've known him for a while, it really may be the right thing to do. But make sure your ready
