Okay so, this guy and I dated for a year. We've recently broken up and I'm now realizing that I hate making out now. About a month into us dating, I told him I didn't like to make out because he's an absolutely terrible kisser! I tried everything to be nice about it or fix it or try to make him a better kisser but none of it worked, so that's how it ended up. But now I feel like he's ruined it for me. Like I don't even want to make out with anyone now because he was just so bad at it.. Is that normal? Or should I just try to get myself to not hate it again when I'm comfortable enough with another guy. I don't want to rush into something new too fast.

    Wait until you feel ready to start having another relationship. Just because he sucked at it, doesn't mean that every other guy you date will be the same. If push comes to shove, you could always give them a body language book for their birthday. I read one and it explained different kissing styles and their pros/cons. A book like that is a good investment.

    I also was in the same pickle a few years ago. This kid would literally flick, throw and swirl his tongue like a seizuring octopus tentacle trying to clean my entire buccal cavity. It was really embarrassing, mostly for him, and awkward, mostly for me. I'd have to stop, and wipe his saliva off my chin. that bad.
