My friend has been dating this girl for 6 months. He says she's important to him, and considers her his girlfriend. Yet, they have been fighting since day TWO of their "relationship", plus he's still seeing his best friend with benefits whom he says he loves! Is it normal that he wants his girlfriend to be someone who fights with him all the time (verbally and now she has also hit him)??

    If he has a girlfriend then he shouldn't have a FWB they r for single ppl. The girlfriend probably senses something is going on. How do u know she hit him??? or is he just trying to make himself look good and her look bad. My ex said the same thing about me,I may yell but i'm not violent. I was suss on him and found a few things that made me suss. After numerous arguments he got pushy no he didn't hit me but he punched the wall, and I still got the blame. I think u should stay out of it because no-one knows what happens behind closed doors and no-one will ever make themselves look/sound bad to their friends.

    my brother was in the same boat with his ex. she was a little whack, but he loved her and wanted her to change. why doesn't your friend break up with this girl and hook up with his "friend with benifits?"

    Well if she is being cheated on wouldn't you expect her to be pissed off? You apparently do not value commitment as anything if you believe his behavior is normal. Unless she gave him permission or they are in that type of relationship which does not sound like they are he should not be cheating.
