Me and this guy went on a date the other day and now he won't talk to me. He always texted me first and I've been waiting for him to text me but he hasn't yet.... Is it normal for guy to just stop talking (for about a week now) to you....
He could just not be into you. You probably made a really bad first impression.
If you had sex with him, first that was really stupid and you should never do that again.
If you didnt then good for you, but it still wasnt a "match made in heaven".
If its been a week I would just leave it alone, if he contacts you then go ahead and contact him back, but be prepared that he wont contact you again.
Besides who cares? It was one date, plenty of fish in the sea. And you couldnt have been that into him, it was only one date. You basically just get to meet and see the surface on one date.
The question is, did you fuck him on the first date. Some guys are out only to add to their score and don't care after they get laid. Pricks, they are and he sounds like one so the question is, did you fuck him on the first date?
he either expected you to chase him or he just met someone else he wasnt expecting . no feelings sparked . sorry .. but there is tons of good guys left fortunately for you .
He sounds like a asshole to me. Im sorry but a real man would be polite and text you and maybe even say that he may only like you as a friend. I mean, if he acts like this now (and he is not your bf) imagine how he would be when you do get together, may be a bigger asshole that he already is.

It sounds like he's avoiding you. If he hasn't called you yet, he's probably not interested. Don't take it personally not every first date leads to a second.
he's not interested or he's playing hard to get (which would make you more attracted to him; you can see why he'd do this)
Did you have sex with him? If you didn't, you probably did or said something he didn't like. Or he's just not that into you.
