I've been dating this guy since I can out of the closet last year. I love him more than anything so I thought I could tell him that I'm a furry. I didn't think it was a big deal to tell him but since we're together I thought he deserved to know. When I told him he called me names and told me I was disgusting and he broke up with me. This really hurt me, he was the first person I came out to. I loved him so much and he broke my heart. Is it normal he broke up with me over this? Please help this is really making me question myself.

    I'd say that he is narrow minded and that you COULD try to send him an email explaining it to him and then ask him to meet up with you or something.

    In my opinion it's silly to break up with someone over something like that :c
