Is it normal that guys think i want to steal their girlfriends?

I've had mostly female friends for most of my life. Lots of times their boyfriends don't like me and act like i'm trying to steal their girl and don't want me to be alone with them, and act kind of dickish to me. like i'm yuri from the novel the subterraneans, and i'm just gonna wait until they have a fight and move in on the girl. it's only the insecure guys that are like this, i've gotten along with plenty of healthy couples and spent time with both parties, together and apart from each other. i'm this skinny little celebate thing with weird hair and glasses that isn't conventionally attractive, and i treat women that deserve respect properly. i only objectify girls that i wouldn't want to be friends with, and i know that's dirty too, but almost every one has fantasies and i'm just being honest about it. i was wondering if any other guys, or even girls, get the whole "he's trying to steal my woman" thing often, and what is it about you that makes people react that way? i even get it from stranger couples too.

    You do sound kind of creepy. Would you go out with any of these girls if they liked you in that way and didn't have a boyfriend?

      probably not. for some reason i like to be friends with sweet girls and date assholes. i'm mostly oblivious when it comes to all this. but yeah, i think if someone wants to fool around with me they should ditch their boyfriend. i don't want all that drama, have enough people that try to fight me already. i don't really know what's creepy about it, girls just feel safe around me, and some men can't conceive of platonic relationships between males and females.

    Most of the times its the look in a guys eyes that makes bfs think one is hitting on their gurls..I remember a guy who's friends with my gf..he had this look in his eyes and i hated him..
    If you hve a gf of your own i wont mind it but it makes me uncomfortable..I once caught him looking at my gf's ass when she bent, infuriated me

    Well , I do hate that creeper feeling around your girl , you can see it with some guys but to be honest you don't sound like a threat.
    Funny with chicks though , they pick up this other girl snooping about you thing in a second, even when you'd bet your Granny they're wrong. Creepy feeling haven someone snooping around your b or gf though.
