Is it normal that gory movies turn me on?

Ok so anytime I watch a gory/violent/horror film (good example are the Saw movies) it makes me really horny. I don't think its the actual violent images that do it but rather the rush I get. A lot of my friends think this is really wierd...so is it normal?

    the thought of death makes me hard so...yea. I had my girlfriend hold a knife to my neck while fucking me. then I realized the thought of me and her bathing in blood and fucking was way more exhilarating

    That's messed up.

    (fyi, I was watching the Friday the 13th remake, and caught myself with a boner. I calmly blamed it on the numerous sex-scenes. But who knows?)
