I"ll tell u why I said its not normal. Almost everyone hates school but the feelings they are having associated with it is extreme. What grade are u in, important and r u supposed to be on this site. Im assuming HS.

To hate school person. Really no speech intended but I have 3 sons, 30-28-18. 2 older finished school one wnt to college(not 4 everyone) my baby dropped out, he cant find a decent job, regrets his decision and is bummed about it. Other 2 are doing great. So stick it out OK, trust me I see what my kid is going thru.

Here is my veiw on it. You may be correct in some ways, but obviously you dont think how we do (myself and the person who asked this question.)
I was in my final year of high school last year and i dropped out half way through becuase,
        1. i hated school ever sinse i reached high school
        2. im not a morning person at all
        3. i was failing most subjects and had no hope of passing that year (im not accademic at all)
        4. i was going through depression
        5. stress from family and relationship break up

I am so happy i dropped out of school, still thinking about that place physicaly makes me sick. If i had sticked it out as you are suggesting, then i would have failed and be left no-where at the end of the year.
Instead, i got help with depression, fixed myself up, and finished a tafe course (tafe = like college) before the end of the year.

Having said all of that, this is my veiw of being in this position during high school. I dont think what you are saying is wrong, but there are positives from dropping out of school.
Also, you can never tell if dropping out or sticking it out is/was the right decision for you until you have made it.

school is a hard place to be for some people. Especially if its junior high or high school.

High School was by far the lesser of two evils. JH was filled with fighting, bullies and a ton of sexism and racism.

Or at least, that's how most people I talk to say.

Yeah spot on. Junior high was hell. HS wasn't really much better, not for me.

school doesn't make you depressed. you let school depress you. there is a difference. not that you can help it. i let it depress me too. school is home is outerspace is the mud that makes mudface is a flower is a bean is no thing except nothing doesn't exist because it is the empty space that makes an aquarium useful although the fish inside are a scale model of modern society, so many fish that would never meet in a natural state introduced to one another and forced to spend time together and wonder what the hell to think of one another, and what language is that, and why is he that color, and they trade their freedom for comfort and security, but like you and i they were born into this and it seems hopeless to try to live any other way, oh but one day, but if it is any day it is also this day. yeah i felt bad for keeping fish but my cat liked them. i guess what i'm saying is try some meditation and yoga, maybe smoke some bud but stay away from pills and hard liquor.

I read a study once that some people just get upset or sad on sunday nights because they are just thinking about the stressful week ahead of them. I do understand though I sometimes get stressed out automatically on sunday thing about the long week ahead of me. The important part is that you don't let it get to you so much that you fail classes or drop out.

It's normal. I graduated 2 years ago but I often felt the same, especially my senior year. I was diagnosed with depression and school work was soo hard on top of that. Glad it's over now.

Used to be like this all the time, especially in the mornings just before I had to leave. Just try not to think about it and concentrate on getting good grades, it'll soon speed by. Least you're not a total pussy like me who left to be home schooled because of it! I don't know anyone who actually likes school, your not alone:)

It's more than okay to hate school that much; just make sure you keep pushing through it and do the best you can, because while may not 'help' that you graduate, it will really hurt if you don't.

Yeah. I love school I can't wait to go back. Going to work isn't really what depresses me I get anxious when I'm there.
