Is it normal that girly girls make me feel like a boy?

I consider myself to be quite a girly girl, but when I meet girls girlier than myself I feel like a boy and I'm uncomfortable/unable to make friends with them. I'm quite shy around boys too. Is this a sign that I'm bisexual?

I only feel uncomfortable if I'm expected to behave like a girly girl.

the person that expects you to behave like this should be the one with the discomfort

and that is a slight on them, not yourself.

Do you like to munch on carpets? That's probably a much more reliable sign of bisexuality.

Well after attending the seminar in Tennessee I was in total shock. The man who gave the seminar was drunk and he threw up while speaking and then he proceeded to laugh and call us names. We paid him $385.76 and he also stood on top of a desk and said Hitler is alive and well here in Tennessee. He then left and came back 2 minutes later dressed as a woman and started to apologize for the weird behavior that was just witnessed. This is the best part He was dressed as a woman and he said his name was Naudia or Nautica or yea anyway he thought that we were not going to recognize that it was him dressed as a woman. This was the most shocking sight I have ever seen in my 79 years on earth. After someone in the audience started yelling at him for his money back he started to do a strip dance and even turned up some music and it was a song playing Dont you forget about me. I am still in shock. A group of people tied him up and called the police.

Im bisexual and i feel the same way about most girls, most of my girl friends are not very girly-girl, and i usually hang around guys more to make myself feel more like a girl, could be a sign of being bisexual, if you find that those two relate. i think its normal

Yes. It's normal. I'm very girly but feel this way about other women. I think honestly it's and insecurity thing. Which is also normal. Every woman has insecurities. So whatever. It happens. Just think about how many other feel that way when they are around you. And I'm sure they don't perceive you as boyish. There is a saying. I can't quote it exactly but it's something like there will always be someone smarter, prettier and thinner than you. (Something like that) and that's so true. That's doesn't mean there is something wrong with you, it just means you're human and every human has feelings like this at one point. So feeling manly or dumb or ugly around a certain group of people is and always will be normal.

It's all relative. Between the macho-est man and girliest girl the rest of us 99% fit in somewhere. You don't have to be typical to be. Just be you.

It will get better once you leave school, work and have worse things to worry about.

I feel the same way around really girly girls. I think it's just my personality though, because I've had friends call me a tomboy even as I was wearing a skirt before.... I usually just feel anxious that the other girls are judging me. Also, how in the hell does that make you bisexual?? Don't worry about it.

Maybe those are just sissy girls?

Discounting the bisexual bit, do any other girls feel uncomfortable around girls girlier than yourselves?

They often make me feel like there is a standard of girliness that I'm not living up to and that I'm being judged for it.

I feel like super girly girls have some mystical aspect of femininity that I'll never attain, and that if a guy finds out he'll not want me over them.

But on the positive side I feel far more capable and bad ass than girly girls. Like, I could handle a lot more dangerous or "real" situations than them.

You expect guy's like me to believe it so we feel sorry for you and lavish attention on you.
