I'm a 5'8 guy in shape healthy with posituve qualitirs and good personality its just that all girls seem to think im too short. i can understand the girls who are like 5'4 and taller thinking im short, but even girls that are 5 feet tall think im short and would rather be with a 6 foot guy. even my mom is 5'2 and i barely feel taller than her. im feeling very lonely and depressed cuz of this.

    I tell you what. From one short guy to another. How the hell do you think these genes keep getting passed on? Accept that you will never be tall american badass or fit the standard of beauty. That doesn't mean you can't be a sexy dude. Make up in style and charm what you lack in height.

    I have a guy friend who's 5'2. THIS is hella short, but he embraces the shit out of it. Confidence is attractive.

    5'8 isn't short at all. Stop thinking it is. You can't do anything about your height, whether or not you like it. Hating it isn't going to change anything.

    I'd bet the girls don't go for you because of your complex about being short. Plenty of short guys (like SHORT 5'4" and less) have girl friends.

    5'8" isn't that short. I'm a girl who's 5'1" and personally, I prefer guys who are on the shorter end and not towering over me. It makes me feel closer to them. And with guys who are over 6' it's really frustrating that I can't kiss them when I please because they're too tall, lol. I don't want to have to ask a guy to bend down, I like to have a little control myself.

    Wait, 5'8 is short? Since when? That's pretty much the average height for guys. I doubt it's your height, it really can't be the reason why girls in general don't "like" you...Especially from girls shorter than you as you explained. If that's the case, then Jesus...You girls need to grow up with this standard of rejecting a guy just because he's not a damn mountain. I can get a preference for height but to have it a deal breaker to be the height he is is just retarded.

    I was measured at 6ft I personally done it myself and found myself moreso really at 5'11, which I don't think is much a difference between me and you and I get my fair share of people that are interested in me.

    Hell, look at Normal Reedus. He is considered the shit right now by women sexually and he's the same height as you. So I don't think it's the height that's the issue to be honest.

    Based on the 2007-8 data from the NHANES, you're the same height or taller than 33.1% of males in the united states. The average height is only 5'10", according to the same data set. Statistically speaking, you're not that short.
