Is it normal that girls always give me the wrong number?

i mean i dont remember the last time someone called me ugly or said im unattractive. ive been told i look good but im nt a dick about it. but why when i talk to a girl, make her laugh, get to know a lil about each other then we exchange numbers she would give me the wrong one?

why wont the girl just tell me no instead or just simply tell me the truth? i got told no plenty of times, told she has a boyfriend but to lie and give e a wrong number? that happened three ties and i cant stand girls like that.

i make sure when i go out i look good and smell good. most of the time i dont wanna meet girls. i would go out maybe to see a movie or a book store or play video games and girls gimme a look so i talk to them and rejection after that -_-

    Women are taught to be nice and pleasant and avoid offending people. After a decade or so of conditioning to be agreeable and friendly, it's hard to say no to someone who asks for a phone number even if you don't really want to give it out. Some women get around that by giving fake numbers.

    It isn't the most polite thing in the world, but I'd wager that almost every woman who's been asked for her number has done it at some point. It's just so much easier than hearing half an hour of "Ohh, come on, I'm not a creep, just give me your numberrr," which is the usual response when a woman is reluctant to share her number.

    Faced with people who bug the shit out of us for a number even after we say no (not that you're one of them), we quickly learn to be "girls like that" and give fake digits.

    That may kind of suck for you, but it means that it probably isn't anything you're doing wrong.

      Totally agree! I'm 'that type of girl'. I'm terrified when people ask for my number so I try to be as polite as possible, I'm scared rejecting them might make them aggressive, so I say 'sure' and give them a fake number.

    ive had guys give me different/wrong numbers before it sucks. i think i look good but to them apperently not even thought their like " oh i like you and stuff." yet when i get there "number" its not them.

    The first time I asked for a girls number she said she would give it to me and never did. She also happens to be the love of my life that will never love me back.
