  • Is this only happening when your stressed? Are you shocked when you feel like your falling? The main reason will be stress then.

Yes, I am a little shocked when I feel like I’m falling, but this doesn’t always happen when I’m stressed, like the other person said, its probably my mind acting out my dream just before I fall asleep

      • Than it is becouse you are (a) stressed or (b) your mind acting out your dreams just before you fall asleep. I agree.

I tend to feel more like I'm sinking, I suspect that I'm actually "feeling" how I'm falling asleep and I have to mentally drag myself up from that hole.

Somehow I'm always SURE that if I don't bring myself up from that sinking sensation I will die from it xD

I'd imagine it's pretty normal; I think it's why we jerk awake at the edge of sleep, sometimes.

  • That happens to me sometimes, it's kinda cool too me. That happens to you because the part of your brain that's supposed to keep to you from acting out your dreams haven't kicked in yet, I think.
