Is it normal that fan fiction makes me hot and bothered?

Sometimes I like to read erotic fan fiction about my favourite tv characters (Sybil and Branson from Downton Abbey). I get very hot and bothered from reading it...more so than watching an erotic film or sometimes even more than sex. Is this normal? I get different sensations in addition with getting turned on; almost butterflies, as if the story is really happening to me or the same feelings of a first kiss or new romance. Is this normal?

    Normal. I'm the same way. I think it's because you have an emotional connection with the characters, which you don't get with plain ol' regular porno. It's sort of like the difference between "making love" with someone you care about vs. "screwing" a stranger.

    I kinda want to write one about downton abbey years and years later.I wanna see what happens with the dragon lady mary, edith,George and little marigold ,daisy and branson.

    I looked at porn for a long time before I eventually discovered I get more turned on by erotic literature. Not necessarily Fanfics, but sometimes. Some of the Fandoms I'm into I can't read the erotic fanfictions. People even write them for some of the most innocent things I like, like my little pony.

    yes because reading leaves the imagining to you rather than you being shown all of the erotic things.

    Some people like watching pornos some like reading erotica. It is all perfectly normal or else it wouldn't be so readily available.
