Is it normal that everything my bf does irritates me?

Me and my bf have been together a little over 3 years, we don't live together yet, but plan to soon. I've noticed lately though that half the time were together about 70% of the things he does is annoying. Little things, stupid things just make so agitated. Don't get me wrong, he's my best friend and I love him so much. And I always feel bad at the end of the day when we're apart like maybe I was kind of mean, but as soon as we're together I realize why I was mean because its hard not to get irritated. Is it just me? I know living together will only make me feel 100x more irritated, but I don't see myself ever being with anyone else besides him, it may sound foolish but its how I feel

Go ahead move in together, fight for the next 10 years and then divorce, your kids will thank you

I think that when you're with someone you love, you look past their flaws. You can't ever fix them. My boyfriend does the dumbest shit sometimes and I'll laugh just to make him stop. Is that mean of me? I don't think so. To love him is to accept him. Maybe you shouldn't move in with him until you can stand him.

I've felt like this too. I loved my boyfriend to death, but stupid small things started to irritate me about him, to the point of great annoyance. I wouldn't have traded him for anything though, I think we just needed time to be alone.

Love tends to fade Chemically after three years time. Because The chemicals in your brain that caused the passionate love have gone, it is hard for you to love him for who he is with a more compassionate love. I would consider parting ways, if only for a little while so that you may realize your true feelings for him. Good luck! :)

  • The most likely issue is that you two are together too much. Do you think this is the case? If so, try to do your own things away from eachother for awhile (as much as it sucks to miss him).
