Is it normal that every mirror shows you something different?

It's pretty annoying cause then you don't know how you really look. I have a lot of mirrors in my house but the main one in my hallway that I use is what I base my looks on most even though as I go downstairs and look at the mirror in front of the stairs, not so much. I look more plain or just different than my upstairs mirror. Or sometimes as Im outside like at the mall I take a glance at a mirror and Im like "wth?" then I go to the bathroom and I look fine. I hate it cause who knows which mirror speaks the truth. Hmm that gives me an idea for a movie. But anyways yeah is it all in my head? I don't think so yet it's still unusual.

    It's the lighting. Fluorescent lighting will make you look horrible.

    it just showing how you look in different lighting, i look like shit in florescent

    Its sooo true. My bathroom mirror makes me look like I have cellulite(dont know how to spell it) on my legs and my hall mirror makes my legs look flawless...why was floresent light invented? Hahaha.

    Omg I thought I was the only one! Well apparently, different shaped mirrors reflect different shapes. Think fun houses. Also, the lighting of the area also affects what you look like. I also noticed some people (including myself) make faces in the mirror. It's unintentional... I do this thing that makes me look better when I look in a mirror. But when I go out and I suddenly see a mirror, I haven't prepared to subconsciously make that face, so I look ugly. That's just me though ;)
