    Ouch, lowering your standards? I dont think so. Your explanation is pretty vague though, maybe examples of guys who you liked/guys who have liked you would give us better insight.

    I get the impression from this that you have standards that are too high that guys that meet those standards do not consider you someone that meets their standards.

    I would suggest lowering your standards and try to like people more your level.

    Of course it's always difficult to know your inner thoughts of what is acceptable. It would be better for you to explain what you do like.
    Having said that, I think that most everyone can learn what it takes to please others so that you will not be out of there field of acceptance. Good luck.
