Is it normal that drinking water makes me more thirsty?
I'm on a medication that gives me a dry mouth but the only thing that helps is cordial. I want to drink more water but it makes my mouth and throat terribly dry.

You might need electrolytes. You could try drinking gatorade. Or your body could be low on potassium. You could try eating a banana. Or drink milk.
Don't drink more water than you need. If you are constantly peeing out clear water that isn't good. There is such a thing as overhydration. Maybe talk to you doctor about going on another medication?
It's called a SIDE EFFECT. This applies to people who are taking certain pills like Xanax/Luvox.
