Is it normal that dieiting "tips" annoy me

It annoys me so much when i read all these complex diets.

I was slightly over weight, I was 6 foot 4 and weighed just under 16 stone. And i tried this weird carbs diet thing, which i followed strictly, and i lost 3 pounds in a month... That F**king sucks.

The next month, i just ate as little food as possible, and MAGIC. i lost 10 pounds.

So here's a tip. Instead of following these over complicated diets, and then wondering why it doesn't work. JUST DON'T EAT.

I agree. Dieting should not be rocket science.

Stop eating greasy foods (no more Burger King, don't order large fries). Stop eating sugary foods (skip the morning doughnut). Eat more fruits, vegetables, and salads. Exercise.

If you do these things you will lose weight.

Eating as little food as possible can be really dangerous. It isn't as simple as being able to live off vitamin tablets and your own fat reserves until you're skinny.

I agree with thr; it's what you eat that is the most important.

D ont think of it as a diet but a life style change. Under eating is almost as bad as your metabolism goes into starvation mode Which slows it down and your body holds onto more food. Eat food with good nutrition values and eat smaller portions often and you'll see a difference

Dieting tips can also annoy me, when I don't think they're good advice.

I think your advice is not that good. I think it underemphasizes the importance of what you eat, as opposed to how much.

Those diets are just commercial bullshit, mostly presented in adds... And since I'm "allergic" for adds, i gotta say: yeah I hate that crap too.

I agree. But, while it did work eating nothing can have serious effects on the body. I do not think that these commercial weight loss dieting mechanisms help, because some of them, like the medical strength and things like Akins, have proved to be very dangerous. Also, I do not see how they can truly help when they further provide people of GMO products which can cause bloating, weight gain, among other symptoms.

I have found that the beat method to lose weight, besides eating less, is an organic pescatarian (I know it's not spelled right) diet. Hoodia is also good too. It looks like a Cactus but it really isn't one and it's been used for ages by the African desert natives for fasting. The only problem is that the plant is currently on the endangered list. :/ That is there is another problem with these diet trends, the over production and poor conservation of plants/animals.

Don't not eat anything. That's what eating disorders are for.

Eat good real food. Chicken, fish, eggs , meat, FRUIT AND VEGETABLES, nuts and seeds. These foods will never make you fat. They are whole, natrual and pure, with only the 1 ingridients not like these cookies over here with 30, 28 of which your body can't even recognise, so how can it use that food for energy? It can't. And if you eat real food you can basically eat as much as you want and LOSE weight. The less your eater, the lower your metabolsim goes and your body gets used to burning less. Not what we want if we need to lose weight.

those diet plans like nutrisystem and the lap band are a waste of money. Those commercials of those happy people who lost a lot of weight is not the typical result.
