Is it normal that degrassi messed up my gaydar?

Ok if any of you ever watched Degrassi you might know what I mean. It is Canadian in case anyone is wondering. However all the actors look really gay even the ones playing straight people. I have never watched a show and said "They look so gay" till I watched degrassi. However after awhile I did not notice anymore. This would not be a big issue beside the fact people get mad when you do not have a good gaydar. Since it is everyone else responsibility to realize who is and is not gay. Point is now my gaydar is ruined because of this show. I love the show because it is so much more intense and deep next to a lot of the other shows I have watched.

    I remember that show from when I was a kid...

    ...Fuck it was awful...is it still awful? It sounds it.

      They now have Degrassi, Degrassi boiling point and Degrassi new generation(New crop of kids). I like it.

    That's why it's made. Televisual mind control. All shows have an underlying purpose. Lassie is actually about how right-minded citizens can combat the Communist menace. And Star Wars was all about people whose name begins with a letter in the first half of the alphabet. Anakin, Luke, Leia, Han, Chewbacca, C3PO, Darth anything, Ben Kenobi, Lando Calrissian, Boba Fett, Jabba the Hutt, the list goes on. Yoda and R2-D2 were token characters to give supposed balance.

    Gaydar isn't really a thing.

    And keep in mind that characters on TV shows dress way more fashionably and elaborately than normal people.

    I watched it. It is a hugely over-dramatized version of high school and yeah, most of the guys are about as much of girls as the girls.

    Yeah, I'm all for gender equality and all of that, but when the boyfriend cries and has more emotional breakdowns than the pregnant girlfriend, you fuckin' notice.

            No, I'm saying that people who aren't straight find other people who aren't straight in a variety of ways that don't involve having a magical, innate ability to detect each other. I'm bisexual, and I can't find other bisexual or lesbian women by just looking at them or sniffing the air some something. If I wanted to find another woman to date, I'd either ask someone out who I already know is attracted to women (I would find this out through conversation), or go somewhere that's specifically an LGBT space.

              This made me laugh. I do not think you find them by sniffing the air. Though people said attraction has to do with smell. However some people seem to tell if someone is gay easier. Some people can not read the hints. However some people just seem to automatically know and will give you a list of

              Detecting a gay:

              *how they talk

              *how they dress

              *how they walk

              *how they eat
              and so on.
