Not much to say exept that I'm usually not overly sexually aroused, especially not if there is no apparent reasson (e.g. situation, guy) but I have started to drink coffee at work and I get super sexually excited within minutes...

Weird things make people horny... I took melatonin (Sleeping pill) cause I've had some major insomnia lately.. turns out it makes me horny ~,~ woot! It's 3:30 in the morning and I'm not only wide awake but really sexual. Didn't read THAT side effect on the bottle
Funny because it actually does feel a little like the sexual awareness that you get from extasy pills only it feels a little more like coke due to the fact that I get so confident and though I have a craving for sex I don't actually really FEEL like having sex with anyone.

Coffee is love. The arousal could be an effect from the caffeine or type of coffee you are drinking or it might be from an ingredient that was added. Do you eat certain things when you drink coffee? Some foods like ginseng/jinseng or oysters can increase the sexual appetite.
Neither ginseng nor oysters have been scientifically proven to be aphrodisiacs.
That doesn't mean they aren't, it just means you shouldn't make statements of fact when there is still a question mark hovering over the theory.
Science has found no evidence that ANY substances popularly believed to be aphrodisiacs work, except Yohimbine, found in the bark of the Yohimbe tree in Africa.
And on a side note, the effectiveness of aphrodisiacs isn't a theory, it's a hypothesis and one that isn't supported by evidence.
Actually no. It must be from the caffeine. I wasn't much of a coffee type which means I only started drinking it regularly some months ago at the age of 20.
I was just super surprised at the effect which lasts depending on my consumption from 30mins to 2, 3hours.
What also surprised me is that I get quite confident and a little socially dominant (in a friendly way though) but that could be a result of my heightened senses alltogether.
Caffeine used to have that effect on me. Not the hoariness, I mean the confidence. I think it was because I was drinking Starbucks and they usually stick a lot of caffeine into their drinks. Once, I made myself a cup and it caused me to hallucinate for nearly the whole day. What is the caffeine content of your coffee? What is the size of your drinking servings?
Stop making fun! Google it, I'm not the only one. I just felt like discussing it... rather than continue reading artictles on Men'sHealth about it. Lol
