Is it normal that chewing is disorienting?

Normal chewing, not so much. But whenever I get Laffy Taffy, it takes me five minutes to eat it because I get light-headed every four chews. The same thing happens any time I chew widely, like with gum. I can even summon the effect by doing it without anything in my mouth. It's pretty freaky.

OH! this used to happen to me. I had migraine headaches (I don't just mean headaches, I mean medically diagnosed migraines) for a three month period and even when my head wasn't aching chewing made me feel light headed and dizzy. So much so that I'd have to stop eating because I felt faint.
