Is it normal, that can't take a shower if i've just taken a shit?

Let's say that I've just taken a shit and I also needed to take a shower. Well, I can't not now because for some reason whenever I get in a situation like this, I feel unclean and disgusted. It disgusts me to have to think about getting in the shower and interacting/washing a bum that has recently expelled waste. Instead, I have to wait a few hours before I can get into the shower. Only then do I somehow feel that my bum is somehow less "dirty" or "raw".

On a lesser note, I also do not enjoy taking showers after having torn my bum from a bowel movement. When the water hits the torn flesh, things can get very unpleasant...

Is this normal?

    Makes more sense to want to bathe or shower after a bowel movement, if you wipe your ass after your dump it's not nasty dirty, and waiting a few hours doesn't make it more clean if anything it would be dirtier from sweat and stuff so come on get in that shower lol

      If the situation ever comes up again, I certainly shall. Though, it has come up and I have taken the shower afterwards because there wasn't any other option! I don't know why I seem to be too scared to do it more often... because its quite relaxing. The only time it hasn't been relaxing has been if I tore myself while I was on the loo. Then, the hot water lashes onto it and it stings!

    WTF that's the best time to go. What I fear is the complete opposite after being all clean , (exhale breath) now I got to take a shit. I feel like I got to take a shower all over again.

    Even as much as 24 hours after you've taken a shit, you still have fecal matter and poop nasties on your butt so either way, whether you wash your butt right away or wait a few hours or even a full day, you'll still be touching those poop nasties but also think about this. You are washing with soap and that soap runs down all over your hands and fingers when you wash so, even though you're touching those nasties, you have soap running all over your hands washing them as well. If you still don't think that's clean enough, then pick up a bar of soap and wash your hands afterward.

    Sounds like an OCD thing to me. I have OCD so, I can recognize an obsessive or compulsive behavior in a heartbeat.

      I know for a fact that I do not have OCD, though I was misdiagnosed for it. What do have is other neurological health issues and some of these issues can mimic OCD-like behaviours as well as cause illogical thinking. From the comments, I have realized that this "thing" i've been doing doesn't really make much sense.

It disgusts me to have to think about going into the bar and having sex with/wanking off a bum that has recently expelled waste. Instead, I have to wait a few hours before I can go into the bar. Only then do I somehow feel that the bum is somehow less "dirty" or "raw".

    I'm pretty scared to find out the reason your asshole tears when you shit. If it's because of rough toilet paper try baby wipes instead. If its because your shit is too big for your asshole that's something you should consult a doctor about.

      Lately, this only happens because I've either 1. Have eaten too little fibre and drunk a small amount of liquid or 2. Too much magical caffeine... sometimes combined with some aspects of number one.

      If you haven't gone for a long time waste will build up. Sometimes, when you go after that period the waste is still quite large.

      My toilet paper has been feeling rough lately after usage but when I tear myself, its often because I tore my anus when relieving my bowels.

      I realize that know. Perhaps, something happened in my childhood to have such a strong fear of doing so? As stated above, I have taken showers after going to the toilet and I always felt so nice and clean afterwards. My body relaxed. The thing is is that if I've already taken a shower for the day, why take another? Does it make sense to take a shower after every single time you go to the toilet? That's very wasteful and costly.

    I think that showering right after going to the bathroom is the best idea. That way, you can actually wash your butt with soap and water, which is the only way to truly get it clean. Also, don't think that the mere passage of time will make your butt cleaner. The poop that remains on your butt isn't going anywhere. Your butt will be every bit as dirty a few hours later. So you might as well shower immediately after going to the bathroom so that you can be truly clean.

      That would be terribly unhygienic and rude to the tub. The shit would more than likely be unable to go down the pipes that is unless my bowels were soft like diarrhea... But even if that were so, chances are they would not be able to fit down the drain's holes AND they would have to sit there and while they sat there, there would be a puddle which my feet would have to wallow in. If my feet were to wallow, the waste's foul bacteria might make the fungus on my toes go aflame and my feet would smell. It would be hard to angle my bum in such a way that would allow for me to get my waste directly in that hole. Otherwise, I'd have to get it elsewhere. Either way, there would still be a high risk that the drain would get stopped up and since my showers are usually pleasurably long, the water could easily rise past my ankles and towards my knees!!! The smell would be atrocious and I would be tainted further. I don't even want to think about cleaning that tub out. Agh! What if the tub overflowed and those shitty waters got every where? It would be like if the toilet overflowed and like a toilet overflow, the waters would find a way to drip down into the kitchen!!!!!
