Yes its normal but, your right if you think there is something wrong with your body because birth control use after a long continued using can cause bone density lose and make you browse more easily and it takes a number on your body. I believe that we have pireods for a reason and that we shouldn't trick our body's natural cycle of getting rid of dead rotting eggs. Go find an herb that can stop it if nature can't do it, you shouldn't got to a human
well, if you're on depo, definitely normal. It really does depend on what kind of birth control you're using.
Uhm all birth control has nothing to do with fooling the brain. Your brain has nothing to do with when you ovulate lol. Birth control works because it in a sense "tricks" the body and the uterus.
Lol if it were the brain we had to worry about people could prevent pregnancy by strong willpower to not get pregnant. Lol silly people.
That's kind of what birth control is supposed to do. They contain hormones which fool the brain into thinking you've already ovulated and hence there's no need to release an egg.
Unless you mean the "morning after pill" which works differently. It has a different hormone which stops an egg attaching itself to the lining of your womb. The hormone also has the effect of preventing an egg being released in the first place (hence a period being delayed). The long-term effects of the morning after pill are largely unknown and, wherever possible, I'd strongly recommend condoms. Not least because of the amount of sexually transmitted infections out there.
