Is it normal that biographies tend to make me dislike the subject?

Whenever I read (or watch) an accurate biography of a person, it usually tends to make me strongly dislike the subject of the bio, when beforehand I generally had a higher (or neutral) opinion of them. Iin?

Too much information is the problem. Like when I thought you were okay until I found out you were a pathetic cocksucker.

I've always felt the same way - not as strongly, though. I'm all for learning more about something, but I've always just found people and their lives to be a boring topic.

I duno. I just wonder how they remember so much about detail about their childhood. Hell I can barely remember what I did last Friday.

I guess it depends on why you feel that way. Maybe you thought too highly of the person and got disappointed by how normal they are. I obviously don't know. I usually like a person more when I find out more about them. I sort of get what you mean though, because when my mental image of someone is changed completely by some small information, I don't cope well with the change. Although that doesn't really effect how I see the person, especially after my mental image of them has changed and I'm over it. Maybe it's because they've reduced someone's life to about an hours worth of TV. Why do you dislike them, I'm curious.:P
