Is it normal, that ballet made me permanently slew footed?

Many moons ago when I was a small child, I took ballet lessons. Before I started taking lessons I remember my feet would go straight out like most people's feet seem to go. When I took the lessons, our teacher drilled into us that we must stand in what she called, the V position. It took me awhile to get it in my head, but eventually it stuck. When I was in my second or third year, my family abruptly pulled me out of the ballet studio and I was never allowed to return it. Ever since then, I've noticed that my feet are permanently in the V position. I can line them straight, but it's too uncomfortable to keep them in that position. Everything I do that relates to my feet involves the V position. It doesn't matter what I'm doing, I could be sitting on the toilet or taking a shower and my feet will still be in that position. I'm not bothered by this. I'm actually quite fond of it, but I still can't help but wonder if this is normal or not... IIN?

  • Depends on how old you were. My guess is that as your body was developing over those three years, the effect of hardcore ballet caused your feet to ' slew ' and stay that way.

I used to always stretch my penis when I was young and now its really long.

Your story made me remember that my mom took ballet lessons, and my grandmother was a ballet dancer, and my great grandmother was as well, I'm imagining the one before that too. When I was a child my mom wanted me to take lessons but I was just not into it.

I don't know if you're situation is normal or not, though. I'm pretty sure someone here will help you.

I am a dancer, and that is completely normal for us. Even if you only took lessons for a little while. As long as your knee caps are over your feet you're good. Standing like that also helps your hips. You're normal!
