Rather than an allergy which would have quite obvious symptoms, you probably have an intolerance to avocado, which is full of fats (good ones) but you may have a deficiency in the enzymes in your stomach that digest fats.
Try eating very small portions each time you eat it, and your stomach may be able to deal with it.
I love guac, but every time I eat it, about fifteen mins later I feel like I'm about to throw up. I never before thot that i could be allergic to it.
it tastes like fat because they are actually very oily and not that great for you.
They are actually very low in cholesterol and yes, they do have fat but is the good healthy kind of fat.
Anyway, getting back to the question, avocados (like all fruits and vegetables) have a lot of fiber. If you don't drink enough water, fiber can make you feel bloated. Maybe that's what's causing the problems?
