Is it normal that as soon as my yawn ends one of my eyes tears up?

Happens to everyone I think. It's so bad for me sometimes people ask why I'm crying. Lol.

No fear buddy, lol you're not alone. When I'm extremely exhausted at work, I yawn constantly, and my eyes tear up ridiculously :P

I know right, I hate it because everyone thinks i'm crying. What happens is for some people when you yawn the muscles in your head push against your tear sac forcing the release of some of your tears.

I deal with this everyday. I'll yawn once, and once I do that it triggers a non-stop yawn attack for 2 minutes to an hour. Everytime I yawn my eyes get watery, then I yawn and it looks like I'm crying so I have to wipe it off on my shirt. I just look like a drove dumbass during the whole process.

one of my friends once did this and tricked me into thinking he was sad about a girl rejecting him... I tried to cheer him up for about an hour before he finally confessed the truth... I hate that bastard

lol i thought i was the only one. I was embarrassed to yawn in public cos i thought everyone would think that i was crying.

Same, only both of my eyes water.
I hate to yawn in public because of it, but I'm always tired.
