Is it normal that, as a teenager...

Is it normal that, as a teenager, i am already missing 'the golden years'? Im young, but still I look back at my childhood and all my past years and wish i was younger and living back then. Can I just chalk this up as teenage angst? IIN?

I feel the same way. Every time I bring it up people think I'm strange. My childhood is practically over. It's sad. :/ however ill just have to learn to not yearn for the past or over think the future but just live in the present. Ha, I'm a poet. I love it.

  • Sometimes, being a teenager is all about trying to fit in and getting rid of everything that makes you unique - becoming a homogenous member of society.

Write down the things that made you happy as a child and what your aspirations were, you won't want to forget them when you are much older.

Its always easy to look back and say those times were better. Granted as a 10 year old they were, things were new, experiences were new, feelings were new, your parents did everything for you. But remember when you were ten and thinking i cant wait to be 11 and to be older. Im 22 and yes to be a child again would be great but theres lots of things as an adult that are great. Being a teenager is a great time. embrace it while you can. I would love to go back to when i was 16
