Is it normal that I am obsessed with this girl? Well, the real question is, "Is it normal to be in the relationship I am in?". I reallyyy like this girl, I think everything about her is amazing and blah and you're probably thinking this is so cliché, but read on. This girl knows that I am obsessed with her. I've told her explicitly how I feel and we're still friends. But it isn't like I've been friendzoned. She likes me back and wants to go out in the future, but right now we're still friends. I'd go out with her in an instant, but I respect that we can be just friends for now.

    It's kinda obvious you're the ''back up guy'' she isnt into something serious right now but, she wants to keep you on a leash my friend. I think you should move on.

    I don't think this is a place you want to be for very long. Its not good that she puts your feelings on a "when I feel like it" time frame. She gets the satisfaction of constant admiration without even being in a relationship, and you get a head full of fantasy that will take up all your time but may never amount to anything. If you've told her how you feel and especially if you've asked her out and after looking at the situation you notice that nothing is changing and she isn't showing signs back in a mutual way, it may be best to retreat for now and focus on you for a while. It would be a shame to give her the power to have your affection "on call" but the call never came.

    Why can't you just be in a relationship right now? Why is she making you wait? She sounds complicated to me. I would write her off like a fart in the wind.
