Is it normal that am going out with a 15year old and am 18

My best mate was going out with a 15 year old when he was 18, a lot of people called him pedo jokingly but there still together and he is 23 and she is 20 now.

For guys is normal as girls that age are attracted to older guys.. Her parents will not like it for sure

The real question is... is it legal where you live? It's a good way to secure yourself a nice cozy jail cell where I come from.

If it IS legal, then... well, it's somewhat normal. I have my own opinions on it, but there are always exceptions to the rule, so I need not even share them.

i think you guys should try to find somebody your own age. why are they 18, a grown ass person, going out with a 15 year old kid?

Normal so long as you respect the laws. You're the adult in the relationship, it's up to you to make sure you act correctly according to law.

I would have lots of meetings and meals with her parents, get them to know you and so that they don't freak too much.

age isnt really the problem if you truely love her then ignor the others

you guys are only 3 years apart. my cousin is about 6 years older than his girlfriend. so i think it's normal. it may seem like you're a lot older when you guys are still young, but as you get older, you can barely notice the difference in age. you'll both be adults.

It's normal and very common. As long as you two love and respect each other, that's all that matters.

Well I personally have age rage of 3 years down or 3 years up. So I don't see the problem with it. However if you have sex he is liable for statutory. Not everyone sees a big issue with this but if its consensual or not the courts can still hammer them for it. Its borderline wrong but its only like 3 years. I don't understand how it can be ok for a 14-17 but not a 15-18.

Well, apparantly a relationship/marriage where the male is five years older tends to have a more successful relationship. I don't see the problem here, unless you are having sex with her while she is under the age where she is allowed to have sex.

they have the term "minor" for a reason. There are rules against this sort of thing.

Althoough it's only a 3 year age difference its probably not that normal considering you're officially an adult and shes still a minor. And, she's only going to be 16 when your 19...think about that

Some people would have a diff say on it but its only 3 years diff. I've done things with a 14 year old and im 19. Age is just a number to me. As long as the are mature I dont care but if I was looking to date someone I would look for someone 18-20

here it's totally legal. The parents would still like a word with you, probably...out of fear you'll just use her for sex or even leave her pregnant.
If your intentions are honest, there should be no problem. Unless you life someplace where it's illegal.
