I think the context in which you drink changes as you mature. When you're young its highly experimental and adventurous to drink, whereas when you're older it can be quite nice just to sit with friends have a drink and a conversation to wind down the day.
It goes without saying though, that if you're not enjoying it, don't drink.
Eventually, everything loses it's thrill. Not just Drinking. But other things too.
your not drunk enough, if its not fun drink till you blackout and wakeup next to strange people, its so fun!
I'm young and I have never gone mad on drink il always just like to have a few but that's just me, I think loads of people drink a lot when there young to be 'cool' cause everyone else does it and if you don't your not cool, that's how it appears around my area but it's up to you how much you drink (:
Same here, its liquid calories so for me I figured what's the point of drinking (I was trying to lose weight at the time, cutting out alcohol did wonders). Also people, of course, got stupid. Now if and when I do drink, it's with a select group of people and usually its when I'm away for a weekend or something. I don't drink nearly as often as I used to
