Is it normal that after i laugh a lot im thrown into a coughing fit?

The last 3 times ive had a good laugh in the middle of laughing Im thrown into a horrendous hooping cough followed by chest pains. I'll have the cough for days or even weeks at a time. It was so bad once that i went to the ER... So is this normal? Could it be asthma?

Note: Ive never been tested for asthma

    Laughing can set off an asthma attack. It's time to go see your doctor.

    no this is not normal :\
    I laugh histerically a lot but I've never have those symptoms, go to a doctor or something.

    Yeah i get that a lot but only after laughing histerically I'm not asthmatic :) maybe you should get checked

    That happens to me quite often, but not as bad as you. You should see your doctor about this matter.

    i have asthma and this sometimes happens to me. but then my doctor prescribed something for me. You should go see your doctor
